Our Wedding: The (Almost) DIY Details
The Welcome Bags
We used a custom monogram designed by a local calligrapher, Just Write Studios, and took to Etsy and ForYourParty.com to put together welcome bags and other small (but special) details.
I designed the paper bags and bag tags using ForYourParty.com. The platform allows you to customize party items on the site and actually see your designs right then and there (for free). I was able to upload my custom monogram (from Just Write Studios) and test it out in different colors and sizes on any item of my choosing. For the bag tags, I was able to test out a huge selection of tags and font styles. It is a must use site for customized items for any occasion, especially weddings.
I turned to Etsy to customize the bag contents. CastleberryHill created the stickers that I placed on the popcorn boxes (we filled with cookies instead) from Amazon Prime.
SipHipHooray created the custom cups with our monogram and wedding date on the front and wedding hashtag on the back. iCustomWater created custom water bottle labels. I filled the "hangover kits" from WeddingEmergencyKits ($1 per muslin drawstring bag) with individual packets of pain reliever, stain remover, and mints (purchased in bulk from Amazon Prime).
The Other Pretty Little Details
We got married at a golf club, so a golf cart get away car was mandatory. I found this sign on Easy from SixPence Press and chose a navy script and striped ribbon from Amazon Prime to fit our theme.

The ring pillow below was one of my favorite little details from our wedding day. The custom linen ring pillow was from, you guessed it, Etsy! Designed by JFY Bride. The handkerchief is also from Etsy by Linen Whites. The bridal clutch is from Tuckernuck designed by Moyna. I added my married monogram in gold beading on the inside flap. I still use this clutch regularly!
I chose sleep shirts from J Crew for my bridesmaids. These shirts fit the theme and the girls perfectly. J Crew gives the option to monogram the pockets of these shirts, but product reviews told me that the monogram runs small. I opted to buy the shirts plain and have them monogrammed at a local shop called Whyte House Monograms. If you're in the area, they have a really cute shop located in Chevy Chase, MD with tons of items that you can monogram. It's a great place for gifts!
